who we are
what to expect
Whether you are coming to one of our House Churches or our Weekend Gathering, we feel there are some things you can expect when you visit:
A Welcoming Church- We work hard to make sure you feel welcome. From the youngest member of your family to the oldest, we want you to know that we are glad you are here.
A No-Judging Zone - We all recognize our need for the grace of God so we strive to not judge anyone for anything. No matter whether you come to church regularly or this is your first time stepping in, God loves you the same as all of the rest of us...immensely.
A Casual Environment - We invite you to come as you are. When asked what to wear to our services it is commonly answered, "clothes". If it helps at all, most wear jeans and a t-shirt, and the pastor sometimes preaches barefoot.
A Good Cup of Coffee - We pride ourselves on our coffee. We proudly brew Pura Vida Coffee. Pura Vida is a Fair Trade Coffee, which means the coffee beans are bought directly from local farmers in third world countries rather than large corporate farms, encouraging the development of impoverished areas, while providing living wages for local farmers. We believe that it is God’s desire for us to help end poverty however we can.
Pura Vida is also Shade Grown. This is the natural and ecologically responsible way of growing coffee. Rather than stripping natural landscape to create coffee fields, these farmers grow coffee with the Earth in mind. God wants us to remember that we are stewards of this earth, even if we do drink coffee. Check them out at www.puravidacoffee.com
