Get Connected, Join a House Church
What is House Church?
It is what it sounds like. We believe that the church is not a building or an institution but a community of believers who are attempting to follow in the way of Jesus. We meet in each others homes through out the week for the purpose of relationship with God and with each other, built through communal worship, conversation, bible study and fellowship.
Why House Church?
We believe that the foundation of the Christian faith is love and that love is expressed through relationship. This is perfectly modeled in the perfect loving relationship within the Godhead between Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Relationship is seen in the incarnation of God in his Son Jesus, and is laid out for us as the format for which we the church are to live out the faith.
With this in mind, we also recognize that the American culture we live in is one where people are becoming more and more segmented from each other. This is why we focus our ministry model on the format of House Church. House church is just like it sounds, the church meeting in the homes of its participants. It is an intentional format to build relationship and community within the DNA of the church. It is modeled after the early church seen in the New Testament.
